We are located in the heart of the city in San Francisco's civic center neighborhood. Our location in the U.N Plaza Building on Market Street offers students dramatic views of the city skyline. We are ideally situated in close proximity to San Francisco’s thriving business community, cultural attractions, shopping and entertainment districts.
The Art Institutes have provided career-oriented education programs in design, media arts, fashion and culinary for over 35 years, and have more than 140,000 alumni.
The Art Institute of California – San Francisco is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools ("ACICS") to award the Associate of Science, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Fine Art degrees. ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.

Vermont Avenue between 22nd and 23rd is the most crooked, and Filbert between Hyde and Leavenworth is steepest at 31.5 degrees, but neither fact discourages tourists from flocking to Lombard Street's seductive curves.
